Experience moments of summer bliss in the unique natural landscape of the Glungezer. The Glungezer cable cars transport you comfortably to the mountain station and to special mountain experiences every day. High above the Inn Valley, wonderful hikes await you, such as the famous Stone Pine Path, a breathtaking high-altitude trail that leads through the largest stand of Stone pines in the Alps and the highest botanical garden in Europe. With a fantastic distant view of 400 peaks, the Glungezergipfel, 2,677 meters above sea level, rewards the ascent. Excellent huts and alpine pastures, such as the Alpengasthaus Halsmarter, the Tulfein-Alm, the Voldertalhütte or the Glungezerhütte, complete the authentic offer on the mountain. The latter experience increasing popularity as a base for several long-distance hiking trails (Via Alpina, Adlerweg, Traumpfad München-Venedig, Glungezer&Geier-Weg, Olympiaweg, Zirbenweg).
With the 10-seater gondola lift to the middle station Halsmarter (1.560 m) and then further with the "Tulfein Express" (in summer only with gondolas), you reach the top station Tulfein (2.055 m) in no time. From there it is only a few minutes to the Zirbensee - a summer oasis of well-being for young and old with panoramic views.
A special highlight for children and families is the mountain adventure world "Kugelwald am Glungezer" - directly at the middle station Halsmarter as well as the discgolfcourse and the low ropes course. For sporty children from the age of 8, a climb to the Glungezer hut via Austria's first legends via ferrata is recommended.
